Welcome! The story of Books + Vino began decades ago, fueled by two simple, lifelong passions: a love for reading nurtured in the quiet of libraries, and the joy of wine shared around a dinner table with extended family, talking for hours.

Education Meets the Vine

My professional background is rooted in over twenty years as an educator, with a Ph.D. in education. This dedication to learning is paired with formal wine expertise, including a WSET Level 1 Sommelier certification, other wine credentials, and restaurant experience

Despite all the formal education, I believe deeply that learning should be for everybody. My mission is to make the world of wine accessible, approachable, humble, and, most importantly, fun. We are all on a journey of discovery, and I am happy to be part of it with you.

In addition to myself, other members of my team include former educators and wine enthusiasts. We are united in one goal - having a great time with you and teaching some things along the way.
